We are Looking For A Community Manager
We are going to be looking for a community manger soon. As we expand we are opening back up the forum and looking at other ways of interacting with our readers.
Community is one of the most enjoyable sections of the gaming industry to work in. While the position with us is voluntary it is a great way to get into the industry and earn some valuable experience. Many of our past staff members have gone onto full time jobs in the industry thanks to the experience gained here with us.
Every major game, developer and publisher has a community department. It is a great job but one that is very hard to get into. Here is your chance to prove your talents.
So if you are active on Twitter, Facebook, like running forums and setting up events such as game nights then this could be right up your alley.
Our community Manager would be responsible for:
- Building our forum, managing users, topics, mods etc.
- Building and interacting with our Twitter and Facebook followers.
- Organizing events such as online game nights both online and competitive.
- General Community Promotion.
If you are passionate about video games and social media then this might be right for you. It won’t take over your life but be aware you will need to invest a good chunk of time at least to get things up and running.
