STATE OF DECAY 2 AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE ON XBOX GAME PASS, XBOX ONE, AND WINDOWS 10 PC
Fans can test their zombie apocalypse plans as State of Decay 2 from Undead Labs launches worldwide in Xbox Game Pass and exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
As of May 25th, there’s been over one million players in the first two days of global release – this equates to six million combined hours of State of Decay 2 gameplay. Survivors have killed over 675 million zombies, thrown over 6 million firecrackers and fireworks, eaten over 6 million bags of snacks, read over 2 million textbooks, and typically survived for about three days.
State of Decay 2 is the ultimate zombie survival fantasy, where it’s up to you to decide how to survive in an open, post-apocalyptic world. State of Decay 2 takes everything you loved about the first game and expands on it, giving you more unique survivor characters, more backstories and skills, more community and base management options, and bigger maps to survive in. State of Decay 2 also adds one of the most-requested features from the community: cross-platform co-op.
You and up to three of your friends can survive together on Xbox One or Windows 10 PC helping develop a player’s community, before returning to your individual games with extra supplies and loot after playing in co-op. As an Xbox Play Anywhere title, you’ll get both versions with one digital purchase, able to seamlessly switch between each as all game progress including Gamerscore and achievements are saved on, and accessible through, Xbox Live.
The standard edition of State of Decay 2 is available to Xbox Game Pass members (£7.99 monthly subscription) starting today, May 22. In addition, State of Decay 2 (£24.99) and State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition (£39.99) can be purchased via the Microsoft Store or from your favourite retailer.
