Savage moon infests the PSP. Following on from the brilliantly addictive PSN title we got last year. The Hera campaign from Fluffy Logic lets you take the battle on the go.
If you are unfamiliar with the title its a tower defence strategy game that pits the humans (you) who are trying to mine minerals from various moons, against the Incetocytes. Who are a bunch of weird, huge, armoured space insects. They come in waves and try to destroy your base. You as the commander have to set up various defence towers to blast them as they approach.
You have a number of different enemies who can scuttle along the ground or some that take to the air. So you need to deploy the correct defences to keep them at bay. Machine gun turrets are the main stay of your base these are backed up by mortar towers and anti aircraft turrets to name a few. You also can drop blocking towers to force the insects to take a certain path.
This game boast a number of new features including new species of Insects but also new technologies for the humans to battle them as well. The sniper tower now picks out the largest threat to your base and attacks that target. A brand new player interface as well gives you control of the whole mission. You now need to micro manage the resources spent on each moon.
