Microsoft E3 Round Up.

Up to date news from E3 keeping refreshing the page its been updated through out the Press Conference.

Microsoft kick off this year’s E3 having learnt from last year’s mistakes they come back hard and strong going straight for the  hardcore gamer market with announcements about Halo 4, MW3, Mass Effect 3 and Star Wars for Kinect.

They open with a Modern Warfare 3 gameplay demo.

Then they quickly follow this up with a look at the Tomb Raider reboot with plenty of action for the new look Laura Croft.

EA then announce some Kinect additions to their games including Madden, Fifa, and the Sims.

Bio ware announce that Mass Effect 3 will use the Kinect to enable voice activated controls ! Not only in the conversations but also in combat allowing you to talk to your team mates and direct them.

Ubisoft show off Ghost Recon with the Kinect, with an impressive display of weapon customisation and even some shooting and the announcement that all Tom Clancy games will have Kinect support.

Thats it for the moment for the games as the conference moves on to show more Kinect features looking at the voice controlled entertainment options on Xbox Live inclusing music and Films.

A promise to increase the number of partners by ten fold including a new deal to bring Youtube and the search engine Bing to Xbox Live.

Phil Spencer then introduces Cliff Bleszinski to show off Gear of Wars 3 with the help of Ice -T they play through a co-op section on a ship where a huge monster attacks Marcus and Dom.

Crytek then display yet anonther Kinect controlled game with the amazing looking RYSE.

Halo remastered, with the decade of Halo gaming is getting a remake with Halo Combat Evolved anniversary pack featuring of the best multiplayer maps from the last 10 years all upgraded.

Forza 4 is then given a look before Pete Molyneux shows the next game in the Fable series Fable the Journey again with a Kinect gameplay demo.

Minecraft for consoles with Kinect support only on Xbox 360 !!

Then some not so exciting announcements about a deal with Disney that allows you to visit a virtual Disney land when some kids showing off how to play.

Star wars for Kinect is then given a run out and looks stunning, how the controls will work we will have to wait and see but being able to use the force all ready has me excited.

Tim Schaffer from Double fine introduces Sesame Street for Kinect followed by Kinect Fun Lab which gives you many of the better developments for the Kinect software including making a Avatar version of you in a few seconds along with a few other ideas like photo and the ability to make a 3D digital version of anything as display when a teddy is made into a digital character right before out eyes. Fun labs is available right now !

Kinect Sports Season 2 with some new golf and American Football demo’s set to release this Autumn.

Dance Central 2 then lights up the stage with some impressive move from the developers.

Don Mattrick then gives a round up of Kinect’s announcements recapping Mass effect 3 , Gears and the voice controls.

Before signing off with a look at a new Halo trilogy announced for Xbox 360. Halo 4 will land Autumn 2012.
