Gamerfest Ireland – Coming this June 2nd – 3rd!

Limerick City is gearing up for its biggest gaming and YouTuber festival to date, with the arrival of GamerFest 18 this June 2nd & 3rd to the Limerick Strand Hotel.

The event promises to be an awe-inspiring celebration of gaming and entertainment, showcasing brand new gaming titles and virtual reality technology, along with the latest consoles and merchandise for gamers of all ages and levels.

GamerFest 18 brings a packed show of live entertainment to the Limerick Strand Hotel this June Bank Holiday weekend! YouTuber interviews, 1v1 gaming challenges, Virtual Reality battles and much more. GamerFest offers visitors the chance to play all the latest gaming titles including COD WWII, Far Cry 5 and FIFA 18. There’s also loads of gaming competitions for gamers of all ages and levels, with mega prizes and giveaways to be won.

As part of the GamerFest Live Stage, visitors have the chance to get up close and personal with some of their favourite YouTubers including All Cast Irish Gamers, Antitinkerbell and Nintendo Impact Gaming.

Central to the GamerFest experience is the amazing cosplay on show at the event. Whether it’s the dedicated community that enter the cosplay competition, or the casual enthusiast that just comes along to enjoy themselves, there is something for everyone!

Don’t miss the Cosplay Competition taking place on the Live Stage on Sunday with a top prize of €100 for the winner.

VR technology is taking the world by storm, with visitors to GamerFest 18 in line to experience some of the latest, mind blowing VR experiences out there! The VR Zone will include the F1 Racing Challenge and multiple VR visitor stations run by virtual reality experts Spraoi VR!
