Battlefield 3 PS3 Beta Confirmed For September

Speaking after his return from Gamescom, Tommy Rydling Product Manager at Dice confirmed that Battlefield 3 will be getting an Open Beta on PS3 in September. This appeared on the Playstation blog so we are still unsure if a beta will be accross all platforms.

Also coming out about Battlefield 3 is that the story will be slighty over 6 hours long with Dice claiming they would prefer 6 hours of awesome than 12 hours of Meh ! The addition of Co-op will give this game an extra twist as missions are designed specifically for two players, and landing somewhere in between the story driven single player mode and the action packed multiplayer modes.

Battlefield 3 launches in here on the 28th of October 2011.
