This weekend Microsoft are unlocking Xbox Live Gold for everyone. From 12.01 on Friday 4 October until 23.59 on Sunday 6 October/ Monday 7 October you can enjoy multiplayer gaming with Grand Theft Auto Online, EA SPORTSTMFIFA 14, NBA 2K14, and more at no extra cost!

The long wait for Grand Theft Auto Online is finally over and this weekend you’ll be able to play with up to 16 players in the dynamic online world of the brand-new game. For football fans, EA SPORTSTM FIFA 14 returns for another world-class season – play a quick match online, take part in a cup or tournament, or manage your FIFA Ultimate Team to victory.

Crew mode is back in NBA 2K14 along with the addition of 14 Euroleague teams so be sure to challenge your friends to online hoops. It’s also the perfect time to play some old favourites – like Call of Duty, Gears of War and Halo.

But it doesn’t end there! We’re also unlocking a variety of entertainment apps, so you’ll be able to enjoy content from the likes of MUZU TV, Machinima, NHL and Skydrive.
